From William Homer DUPPSTADT; June 18, 2000 Fathers Day:
Homer Duppstadt was relating a story about John Grove that Wilson Pebley told to him. It is about how John outsmarted the revenuers. They came to him and told him they were looking for a John Grove. John had some of his contraband with him at the time. He told them that if they would wait where they were and watch his stuff, he would go to get John and bring him back to them. Obviously he never returned to where the revenuers were!! 1042
