PEBLEY
Mrs. Effie M. Pebley, 92, Scalp Level Church of Brethren Home, formerly of Central City RD 1, died March 26 in Wheeling Clinic and Hospital, Windber. Born April 10,1881, Stonycreek Township, daughter of Jacob and Jane Keller Duppstadt. Preceded in death by parents, husband, Oliver, 1970, four brothers and three sisters. Survived by these children: Wilson and Frank, Windber; Paul, Cumberland, Md.; Mrs. Clarence (Ada) Miller, Stoystown RD 2; Clyde and Ruth, Johnstown; Merle, Toledo, Ohio; Ralph, Akron, O.; and Mrs. Ethel Rodkey, Altoona. Twelve grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren. A sister of Russell, Central City RD 1 and Mrs. Minnie Walker, Shanksville. Member of Central City Christian Church. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Rev. Edwin R. Cuthrell officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
