Little is known of Sarah Rolfe other than she is named in her father's will as the wife of David Ross. Sarah and David received a house in Salem as part of her inheritance. It appeared to be rented to another person and there is no record showing that they ever lived there.

David and Sarah went to Albany, NY where he was killed by indians. Nothing is known of her life after this point. Did she return to Salem to be near her brother's families? Did she return to Pennsylvania or Delaware to be near David's family? Did she remarry? 1067
