Christian Heiple appeared on a list of still owners in Bedford County in 1795 at the time of the Whiskey Insurrection. "Christian Heiple, Philip Kimmel Sr., two stills."

He is listed in the 1788 tax assessment for Quemahoning Twp., (then Bedford County) PA with 433 acres of farm land.
