A.T. Elliott, Malvern, aged 82, died Monday at the home of his son near Lono. He is survived by his 3 sons, Will, Frank and Floyd Elliott; and 3 daughters, Mrs. M. D. Hayes of Joyce, Louisiana, Mrs. J. T. Yates of Malvern and Mrs. W. I. Nowlin of Malvern, 28 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Aged Lono resident passes away. A. T. Elliottt, aged 82 years, passed away at the home of his son in Lono Monday morning, January 19th at 8:00, after a illness of one week with influenza. The funeral was held at 11:00 Tuesday at Lono Cemetery with Rev. Elam Funk conducting the service and interment took place there. The remains laid to rest with Mason honors.
Mr. Elliott was born in Tennessee but moved to Arkansas when a boy and has made his home at Lono since moving to the State. He is well known in Malvern, having been a frequent visitor in the city. He is survived by 3 sons, Will, Frank, and Floyd, all of whom have the sincere sympathy of their friends in their sad bereavement.
Note: The 1880 Hot Spring Clear Creek census has George Funk and his wife Catherine living next to the Elliotts; one of the Funk children was the same Elam who gave the eulogy for A. T. Elliott. 438
