General Notes: After their marriage they lived in Tennessee for a time then moved to Kentucky. This was their home until about 1840 or 41 when they packed their ox cart and with their family came to Linn County. They settled on a farm in the part of the county, which in 1845 became Sullivan County. Both were members of the Missionary Baptist Church. When Alfred Jacobs was sixty-five years of age he lost his eyesight and spent the rest of his life living with his youngest son. James Jacobs. Life Events: 1.
