Other info: Philip evidently was the oldest son and heir-at-law of his father, Philip Truitt, who had pre-deceased his father, George Truitt, and had not received his share of the estate. Philip, son of Philip, was living at ''Mulberry Grove'' when his grandfather, George, devised to him the land on which he then lived (300 acres, Mulberry Grove). His wife's maiden name is unknown. William Truitt, brother of Philip, and Samuel Parker, signed as nearest of kin to the inventory of Philip Truitt. Possibly Mary was sister to this Samuel Parker. The final administration of Philip's inventory shows children: Elizabeth, Ann, Tabitha, Sarah, William, and Comfort. In Lord Baltimore Debt Books (tax books), Philip Truitt's heirs were taxed for 186 acres of ''Mulberry Grove'' in 1762.
