They lived on Old Stage Road in Worcester County, MD. "Aunt Polly," as she was called by her neighbors and friends, was a good wife and mother, and a lovable Christian woman. She served as doctor for the neighborhood. In those days, a doctor was called only in cases of extreme seriousness; however, Aunt Polly responded to all calls. She was highly esteemed by all who knew her. For conciseness' sake, I shall not say any more about her, although I could easily say much more. This is recorded by Rosa Lee Tilghman Morris, granddaughter of "Aunt Polly"(found in the Tilghman Family Records by Mrs. Rosa Lee Morris). ------------------------------------------------------------------ Mary "Polly" Truitt was my gggg grandmother.
