Elizabeth K. Truitt first married a Jacob Kocher and had four children. Then after his death in 1873, she married Johann Georg Ganshorn (Goshorn) and had one child, my grandmother Mary Jane Goshorn Zaebst.

Elizabeth Truitt's first husband was named Jacob Kocher. I have wondered if her middle intial "K" might stand for Kocher. More likely it is for Katherine.
