OBITUARY
Mrs. Mada Ellen Galliger of Lineville, Iowa, passed away.
Mada Ellen Hooker, daughter of John and Margaret Hooker, was born in Browning, Missouri, (Sullivan County) August 11, 1874, and passed away at Baker's Nursing Home in Chariton, Iowa, October 27, 1951, at the age of 77 years, 2 months and 18 days.
She was united in marriage to Henry Galliger in 1896. They reared a daughter, Wavalee. She is survived by her daughter Mrs. Wavalee Roberts, one sister, Mrs. Mary Eliza Jacobs and one brother, Jerry Hooker, Lineville, Iowa, many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Galliger had been a member of the Methodist church since she was 14 years old.
Funeral services were held at the Funeral Home in Lineville, Iowa, Wednesday, October 31, 1951. Interment was made in the Evergreen Cemetery, Lineville, Iowa.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brown, Mrs. Nellie Barrows, and Mrs. Veda Warren of Purdin, Missouri, attended the services of their Aunt. 148
