259 Deed BENJAMIN HUDSON from PETER FRETWELL WRIGHT, High Sheriff of Suss. Whereas THOMAS EMORY of the Feb term 1785 recovered a judgment agnst BENJAMIN TRUITT of Suss, yeoman, for 150 pounds the sheriff seized a tr in Cedar Creek Hund, Sus,101 ac and caused an inquisition thereon by two men who determined the debt could be paid from 7 yrs use of the property. Whereas ANN CATHARINE HOLMES of the Feb term 1785 recovered a judgment agnst said TRUITT for sum of 103 pounds, 2 shillings, 2 pence. Land was sold to BENJAMIN HUDSON for 30 pounds, 10 shillings, 101 ac - adj line along JOSEPH TRUITT's land, pt of a larger tr con- taming 200 ac originally granted unto BENJAMIN TRUITT Senr., warrant dated 9 Jun 1737 lying within the bounds of the manor Warninghurst (?) and called Spittle Field. Ackn 3 May 1786.
