Jeanne d' Évreux 1688
General Notes: Joanna of Navarre was the daughter of Charles the Bad, King of Navarre. She married John V of Brittany, and they had four sons and four daughters. After he died, in 1403 she became the second wife of Henry IV of England. They had no children, but she got on well with his children, often taking the side of the future Henry V of England, "Prince Hal," in his quarrels with his father. Jeanne next married Jean V de Montfort, son of Jean IV de Montfort and Joanna of Flanders, on 11 Sep 1386 in Saille-pres-Guerrand, Navarre, Spain.1688 (Jean V de Montfort was born in 1339 1688 and died on 1 Nov 1399 in Nantes, Brittany, France 1688.) |
