Zachariah Loon Heard ¹⁸⁸

  General Notes:

Zachariah served in the Confederate army during the Civil War. He was a private in Company D, 20th Reg. Infantry. He served from March 1862 to October 1864. He was taken prisoner and sent to Vicksburg, Mississippi, where he was released in October 1864. His widow Zilpha Adelee Heard filed for a pension on October 2, 1907. The application was approved for $100.00.
