John Gable (Jr.), postmaster of this city died at family home 17 Jan 1919. Stricken with apoplexy, found unconscious. Died in second attack. Final rites were at residence Monday by Rev. D. M. Trout of Brookfield. In personal column, children home for father's illness, J.D. of Texas, Earl of Mobley and Christina of Columbia.
