OBITUARY

Mr Hillary Herbert Davis, 79, died at his home in Glenwood Thursday. Surviving are his widow Mrs. Fairy H. Davis, Glenwood; 3 daughters, Mrs. J.C. Corley, Glenwood, Mrs. J.L. Porter, Paradis, LA, Mrs. C.L. Phillips, Luverne; 4 sons, Dr W. Oren Davis, Wichita, Kansas, Dr Elmo W. Davis, Americus, GA, M.J. (Bubba) Davis, Talco, TX., Henry Ford Davis, Luverne; 35 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2pm from the Glenwood Baptist Church with Reverend L.C. Walker, Rev. Warner Floyd, & Rev. Bass officiating Interment was in Providence Cemetery with Turner's Funeral Home in charge.
