Says that Benjamin was born about 1762.
Benjamin's father left him 85 acres of Mulberry Grove. On 1/9/1790, he purchased from James Brittingham, for 30 pounds, 31 acres of ''Bartholomew's First Attempt'' and 20 acres of ''Brittingham's Fortune'' which James Brittingham had purchased from Truitt Brittingham (Worcester Co Deed Book N, page 155).
On 2/12/1796 he joined with his brother Samuel in selling to their brother, John Kellum Truitt, all rights to a negro girl named Leah.
On 8/14/1798, he purchased from Round Truitt all title to Mulberry Grove (Worcester Co Deed Book R, p.448). On 10/4/1797 he took the oath as under- sheriff of Worcester Co (Deed Book S, p.73) 1508
