OBITUARY - Max L. Morelock
Graveside services were held for Max L. Morelock, who died Oct. 25, 1985 in McKinleyville. A native of Missouri, he was a resident of McKinleyville.
Mr. Morelock was born and raised in Milan, Mo. where he farmed and raised registered Angus cattle. For many years, he worked for Martin Wunderich Construction Co. as an operating engineer lubrication foreman.
For 30 years, Mr. Morelock worked all over the U.S., the Aleutian Islands and Panama, prior to his retirement when he settled in Paradise, Calif. He lived there eight years before moving to McKinleyville six years ago. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Milan, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Browning, Mo.
Mr. Morelock is survived by his wife, Cena M. Morelock of McKinleyville; a son, George T. Morelock of Cloverdale; a daughter, Carolyn J. Graham of Auberry; his grandchildren, Kelly Ward of Eagle River, Alaska, Lonnie Morelock of Sacramento, Jim and Jeffrey Graham of Belgrade, Mot.; and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Grace Morelock; two brothers, Gerald and Clifford Morelock; and two sisters, Iris and Lorraine Morelock.
Graveside services were held at the Greenwood Cemetery in Arcata with the Rev. Chuck Spisak officiating.
