Mr. Hooker,

My names is Michael Ryan, I am writing to you because I found some information on your website that indicates that you may know of or have some information on my family. My mother's name was Janet Knickerbocker, her father was Walter Knickbocker and her mother was Betty Sue Stilles. My mother died April 22nd 2006, her last name at the time was Kirkham. When she died her and I had not spoken in many years and by the time I found out that she was ill it was too late. I arrived home to find my mother in a state unable to recognize the world around her. I do not mean to drop all this on you, but I wanted you to understand my next request. Due to both my mother's and my own I never got the chance to learn about where I come from. All I know is that we are connected the Knickerbocker family. I would appreciate any information that you may be able to share with me. I have read through your website and you have names listed that I recognize from growing up listening to family stories. Regretfully I know nothing really about where I come from and having lost my mother I find myself really wanting to learn everything I can. I am not sure how you and I are connected in this but seeing as this site is for tracking your family and I know that there are members of my family on there as well I am hoping that you can help me.

Kindest Regards
Michael T. (Knickerbocker-Kain) Ryan

Great website. We trace our roots to the same descendant Joseph "Soddy" King who was my great-grandfather on my mother's side. My grandfather was Alexander "Elic" King. My mother has enjoyed hearing some of the info on your website. Would love to touch base with you on adding additional information on Alexander King's descendants. I visited the Masonic cemetery in Bucklin last Sept. (2008).

For those of you who visit this site, Hazel was my grandmother, and she was an extraordinary woman. My mom and Granny and I spent several years working on our geneology until her death. How wonderful it is to know where your roots lie.And special blessings to those of you who don't. God Bless All of You.
