I went to work for Reynolds Aluminum in New Jersey in 1968 and soon after Joyce Pipken was transfered into the plant. It was my honor to have been able to work for this man and to learn from him for the nekx 15 years. I owe him everything including my formal education, that he insisted that I continue even while advancining up the steps of management. Joyce left the can division while I was a plant manager in Kansas City. I stayed with Reynolds another 2 years, but it was never the saame after he left. With Joyce you always knew if you did your job, you could count on him to support you. He never did beleive in playing politics. You either did the job or you would never have been put in the position in the first place. Joyce had the ability to read people with in minutes.
