Personal Observations for James Dewey Hinkle

"Dewey Cecil Hinkle never saw a stranger, could talk to anyone about almost any topic. Was very good at math and could do algebra problems in his head without paper or pencil faster than most high school seniors in the early 1960's notes his son, James Dewey, doing the same problem. Had a very good memory and loved to visit with relatives. A great hunter and fisherman but never one to waste any of the meat that was brought home. Enjoyed time away from the city and his work, always looking forward to retiring and spending more time at his cabin at the lake of the Ozarks. He was very good with his hands also, making his own fishing rods and etc. 929

bullet  Medical Notes:

Death caused by propane furnace in home exploding as he was trying to relight it. Faulty safety valve was found to be the problem, causing a large amount of propane to gather in the basement. He had a bad cold and couldn't smell the gas and lit a match to relight the pilot light when the explosion happened. He suffered 3rd degree burns to 90% of his body.
