WEDDING ANNOUNCEMENT

WED IN CARROLLTON

Miss Lorene Margaret Selle of Waverly and Dewey Cecil Hinkle of Corder obtained a marriage license in Carrollton Friday morning. They were united in marriage at the home of the officiating minister, Rev. Wm. Icenogle, Friday at 12:30 p.m. The bridegroom is a private in the United States Army and is located at a camp in Alabama.

OBITUARY

Mrs. Lorene M. Hinkle, 61, Whitney Road, died at the Independence Sanitarium and Hospital. She was born in Hodge, Missouri, and moved to this area in 1949. Mrs. Hinkle was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church. Her survivors include tow sons, James Dewey Hinkle, Buckner, Mo. and William Franklin Hinkle, Sibley, Mo.; three daughters, Catherine Marie Hinkle, of the home, Donna Joan Myers, Odessa, Mo. and Joyce Denise Smith, Knob Noster, Mo.; her mother, Nora Opal Erwin, and two brothers, Frederick Selle and Edwin J. Selle, all of Kansas City; a sister, Louise Kessner, Raytown; two half brothers, Carl Selle, Merriam, Kansas; and Earl Selle, Horton, Kansas, and 11 grandchildren. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the church; burial in the Salem cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 tonight at the Carson Independence Chapel. The family suggests contributions to the church memorial fund.
