OBITUARY
DONNA JOANN HINKLE-MYERS,46, Independence, died Thursday, Feb. 23, 1995 at the Independence Regional Health Center. She was a lifelong resident of Independence. She was a member of the El Dorado Springs, Mo., Methodist Church. She was born in Kansas City, Kan. She is survived by her estranged husband, Robert Myers, Lebanon, Mo.,; one daughter, Kimberly Jo Myers-Hursman, Ardmore, Ala.; two sons, Richard Lee Myers, Springfield, Mo., and William Robert Myers, U.S. Marine Corps; two brothers, James Dewey Hinkle, Buckner, Mo., and William Franklin Hinkle, Sibley, Mo.; two sisters, Catherine Marie Hinkle-Leighton, Independence, and Joyce Denise Hinkle-Smith, Buckner, Mo.; and one granddaughter. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the George Carson and Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at the New Salem Baptist Church. Burial will be at Old Salem Cemetery, Independence. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
