"Aunt Ada as a youngster played the piano in many entertainment programs, church social affairs, etc. Miss Ada Hooker's "Vocal Duet for You" was played many times in the M. E. Church in Browning, Mo. I always enjoyed hearing her play "Melicali Rose." Two of the songs that I know she composed were "Nature's Pride Two-Step" and "Don't Leave the Roses for the Casket." The two letters enclosed here were written in braille to my grandmother Wheeler by her sister Ada. I have her braille watch. It was given to my mother by Ada's sister Pauline. Then my mother gave it to me just before she passed away, as that was Aunt Pauline's wish. I am to get the piano that Aunt Ada had. It was the piano that went through the cyclone in 1903." ===================================================================
